Great location, well maintained
Too little information about amenities. Also no first aid medication available - especially for tourists who could fall sick with a fever, headache, stomach bug, etc which requires some simple over the counter medication.

What was the highlight of lyf Farrer Park Singapore
Convenience, but not a 4-star hotel. It’s a youth hostel.
The location was great, very close to bus stop, in front of the hotel. The room was not bad, it was OK. Shopping mall was just across the road. Handy to buy some water not supplied by a 4-star hotel in the rooms.
Unfortunately, this was not what I expected from a 4 star hotel, as per western expectations. The whole vibe of the place was like a youth hostel. The room didn’t have little simple things that you expect in a hotel room, like bottles of water, regular cleaning, no mini fridge, which is much needed in the humid and hot weather. The room has no phone to call reception, if needed. The corridor has a communal fridge and a water dispenser, which isn’t convenient - again, youth hostel type facilities. I wouldn’t want to leave my food or drink in a communal location! The cold water dispenser dispensed hot water, even on the cold setting, because it was so hot and the corridor and elevator areas has no AC, so it’s boiling hot. I had to buy my own cold water from the shops, even though it should be supplied by a ‘4-star’ hotel - this place needs to be relisted as a hostel, because that’s what it is. Everything is communal.

Good hotel for short stay but not the best location
The room is small but cozy. Bed is comfortable and for a short stay is a good place.
The location is not ideal, people that stay here are very noisy and you can easily hear them under the door (ideally they would not stay on the hallway and talk and laugh but well.. not a perfect world). I stayed at other lyf locations and it was better.
